Are you interested in volunteering with VoSNL?

Our main volunteering opportunity is within our science clubs as a “Science Club Facilitator”. We ask that all volunteers commit to every Saturday during the program, but exceptions can be made if ample notice is given to your volunteer team. Please note that you will be required to obtain a police vulnerable sector check.

Community Science Club Facilitator

Commitment: Saturday morning, October to April, 3 hours per week.
As a facilitator in our science clubs, you will work within a team to facilitate the teaching of VoSNL STEM experiments/workshops within our respective communities. If you have a working knowledge of science, technology, engineering and/or math and enjoy working with youth, please apply to be a volunteer! You will receive training prior to joining your team and please check out our club locations to sign up for the club closest to you!

We look forward to having you be part of our team!

Curriculum Developer

Commitment: Casual, Seasonal
If you would like to contribute to VoSNL but are unable to volunteer in person because of distance or time constraints, or if you are currently a volunteer in other areas but would like to do more, then this position might be right for you!

As a curriculum developer you are part of the team that designs modules and workshops for our programs! You must have experience and enthusiasm in STEM, enjoy researching and have good writing skills. Our curriculum development team will contact you with more specific details upon receipt of your application.

Want to be part of VoSNL in other ways?

We have a lot of operations and programming outside of our clubs such as Public Relations/Marketing, Event Planning, Inventory, Program Outreach, Administration and more! If you are interested in working in any of these areas as well, please indicate this on your application.

We look forward to having you on the team!
